SHIMRON HETMYER

Shimron Odilon Hetmyer is a professional cricketer from Guyana who represents the West Indies in international cricket. He is known for his aggressive batting style and powerful stroke play, especially in the limited-overs formats of the game.

Hetmyer bats left-handed and usually plays in the middle order, where his role is to accelerate the scoring rate and finish innings strongly. From a young age, he showed great promise in cricket and quickly became one of the most talented young players in Caribbean cricket.

Hetmyer first gained international recognition when he led the West Indies Under-19 team to victory in the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
