🏏 Batting: right hand | 🎯 Bowling: off break
Shafali Verma is a fearless and aggressive opening batter celebrated for her raw power and ability to dismantle bowling attacks from the very first ball. She holds the record for being the youngest player to represent India across all three formats.
Growing up in Rohtak, Shafali initially had to disguise herself as a boy just to get training because there were no girls' cricket academies nearby. Supported by her cricket-crazy father, her incredible boundary-hitting ability quickly caught the eyes of selectors. She made her international debut at just 15 years old and famously led the India U-19 team to a World Cup triumph.
