About Prithvi Shaw

Once hailed as the next Sachin Tendulkar, Prithvi Shaw is a prolific Indian opening batter known for his aggressive stroke-play and historic achievements in youth and domestic cricket. After a challenging transition period, he currently represents Maharashtra in domestic cricket while continuing his journey as one of India's most naturally gifted openers.

Prithvi Shaw's journey began with a world-record 546 runs in a Harris Shield match at age 14.He catapulted to global fame by captaining India to the 2018 U19 World Cup title and followed it with a dream Test debut, scoring a century at just 18.Known for a technical style that blends the back-foot punch of the modern era with classical Mumbai "Khadoos" grit, Shaw is the only Indian player to boast a 50+ average in First-Class and List A cricket alongside a 150+ T20 strike rate.In 2025, he moved from Mumbai to Maharashtra to reignite his career, immediately making an impact with record-breaking domestic scores.
